WHERE HAS THIS BEEN ALL MY LIFE???
No CGI. It’s all practical work. Sploosh.
Don’t need no computers for magic to work! Yeahhh! Awesome!
One of the most accurate depictions of a panic attack that I’ve ever seen.
Thank you. Just thank you. Far too many people don’t seem to grasp the concept of what a panic attack actually is. Getting upset is not a panic attack. This is.
this is actually really accurate, especially the feelings of not really being there. i cannot concentrate when i’m having an anxiety attack, i can only concentrate on the anxiety itself. I had an panic attack yesterday and i can’t remember anything of what anybody was actually saying to me during that time, its like being in a tunnel and everyone else is shouting at you from the other end.
i asked for ice cream not a sword
I’m losing my patience for brands that think it’s cute to promote unhealthy eating habits as advertising strategy.
I don’t like ads that encourage women to avoid finishing their meals and to think of these things as “tiny wins.” I know this doesn’t seem like that big of a deal but I just hate the messaging that in order to have a healthy/positive lifestyle you should aspire to eat as little as possible.
It’s uncomfortable how these messages are wrapped in such bright and pretty packaging.
eww this is literally teaching disordered eating habits as competition with self
The whole framework is horrifying. I really need “health” advice to stop coming from these false experts. I need to start seeing counter advertising that ACTUALLY teaches REAL nutrition instead of this disneyfication of disordered eating
Oh my god this is horrifying.
This is literally shit straight from the pro-ana sites.
Oh my god?!?!?!! These “health” foods and commercial makers need to actually talk to a health expert before proclaiming shit like this?!!
Inspired by every student whose told they can’t be an artist because it doesn’t “make enough money”.
People from middle and upper middle class can say these things and get away. People who don’t know what starting capital is can say these things. People who literally don’t know what its like to have nothing or to live in poverty can say these things.
You can’t follow your dreams without some start up cash from somewhere. And most people don’t have that. Like if money was no object and people could just ~live their dreams~ then why are there children starving in 1st world nations
It’s the social economic version of “just stop being depressed”
Actually reblogging again to add commentary:
"All you need is a house and food and a laptop".
And internet for the laptop. And electricity. And plumbing. And heat. And possibly has for your car. Oh and tabs and emissions if you have a car. Travel if you live away from family/friends or have a job that requires it but doesn’t pay for it.
And, hm, what else?
Medications. Doctor appointments. Replacement for things like canes and wheelchairs if they break and your insurance doesn’t cover it (oh, and if you’re self employed, you have to pay for insurance, too).
Not only is this super classist, it’s ableist as fuck.
it has been economically and psychologically studied that unless you make 75000 dollars a year, youre not happy. thats the amount of money every year that you need to be really happy.
so no, saying “following your dreams” doesnt cut it. my dad grew up in poverty and had to work his entire damn life doing shit he didnt want to do, and now hes like 53 and hes FINALLY happy because hes making money. he had to give up his dreams in order to get out of poverty. so YEAH
money doesnt buy you happiness, but unless you make 75000 a year then youre not totally safe
^^FUCKING THANK YOU.
This is easily the saddest quest I’ve ever done in WoW. You do a bunch of stuff to help Dezco, Chieftain of the Dawnchaser Tribe of Taurens (the Dawnchasers being Tauren paladins and priests that worship the Holy Light through the Sun God An’She) in the thick jungles of Pandaria’s Krasarang Wilds, all while his pregnant wife starts going into labor. You gather herbs and magical healing water to help ease her pain but something goes wrong with the birth and you just stand there and watch as Dezco desperately casts flash of light on her over and over, trying to keep her alive. In the end she doesn’t make it, dying from complications in the birthing as nobody was aware that she was in fact pregnant with twins. The last thing you see before moving on is his wife’s body being burned on a ceremonial funeral pyre and Dezco praying over his newborn sons, sobbing all the while. There’s a book about what happens after that and Dezco’s other adventures in Pandaria but I have yet to read it.
Don’t read it. It’s stupid and contrived and just infuriating what they further do to him and his kids.
And it’s further proof for how much a dick Chi’ji is.
